• Voor de proefsessies krijg je dan een uitnodiging waar u zich voor aan kan melden. Die is op een hele dag en zal samenvallen met studenten van mijn collega Sybille Troubleyn van WineWise in België. We proeven maar liefst meer dan 20 topwijnen.
• Alleen degene die geregistreerd hebben voor de Capstone online lessen kunnen deelnemen aan de proefsessies.

• The Winkler Index: U.C. Davis day system and its advantages and disadvantages.
• Soil types common in California; soil balance and health; sustainable and organic agriculture; organic certifications.
• Viticulture and clonal selection of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Zinfandel.
• Sparkling and rosé wines.
• Advanced viticultural concepts of rootstocks (vigor and disease resistance), grafting, phylloxera and other vineyard pests, dry farming versus irrigation.
• In-depth exploration of AVAs/wine regions including: Lake County, Solano County, San Benito County, Santa Clara County, Amador County, El Dorado County, San Joaquin Valley, Sacramento Valley, Madera County and Temecula Valley.

How does the Capstone California Level 3 online course work?

• You can register for the California Wines Capstone Level 3 online wine course by completing the form.
• You will then receive an access code to get started immediately online on the Capstone California website.
• The online course is in English. Tasting in a mix of Dutch and English.
• After registration, you will receive a special code within 48 hours to start your California Capstone experience.
• You will then receive an invitation for the trial sessions that you can register for. This will take place on a full day and will coincide with students of my colleague Sybille Troubleyn from WineWise in Belgium. We will taste over 20 high quality wines.
• Only those who have registered for the Capstone online classes can participate in the trial sessions.
